what this is,and what it is not

Written in plain English rather than in legal language, because a page nobody can read protects nobody. Last updated 8 August 2026.

I

the whole thing in one paragraph

We are a price list, not a shop

Nicotia Market reads the public catalogues of nicotine retailers and works out what each listing actually costs by the unit: per pouch, per 1,000 puffs, per ml, per stick. That is the entire service.

We hold no stock. We sell nothing. We take no payment. We ship nothing. We set no prices. When you buy, you buy from that store, on that store's website, under that store's terms, and your contract is with them and not with us. If something goes wrong with an order (it never arrives, it is not what was described, you want a refund), that is between you and the store. We can sometimes help you find the right contact page, and we have no power beyond that.

II

how we get paid

Affiliate links, stated plainly

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy after following one, the store may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and any discount shown is yours whether or not we earn anything.

Being honest about the other half of that sentence: some of the store links here currently earn us nothing at all, either because the store runs no programme or because our application is still sitting in a queue. Those stores are listed anyway, because the comparison is the product and a shelf with holes in it is a worse product.

What commission money does not buy is placement. The default sort is unit price, and it is computed from the store's own listed price. A store cannot pay to appear higher, because there is no mechanism by which it could. The ordering is arithmetic.

III

the numbers

What the prices mean, and do not

Prices are read from each store's public catalogue and can be wrong. They may be stale, mid-change, or out of stock by the time you click. Shipping estimates are for comparison, not quotes. Always confirm the real price at checkout on the store's own site. If our number and theirs disagree, theirs is the real one.

Unit prices are arithmetic on what the store publishes. A per-pouch price divides the can price by the stated pouch count; per 1,000 puffs divides by the rated puff count, which is the maker's laboratory figure, not a promise about your usage. Where a store itself says a count is approximate (some cans are filled by weight, not by count), our per-unit figure is an estimate and the card says so.

Some stores charge in pounds, euros or kroner. Where we convert a price for comparison, the conversion is indicative: the store charges in its own currency and your bank sets the rate you actually pay.

We report what the store lists.
We do not vouch for the product.

We give no warranty on the accuracy of any figure on this site. That is not a clause we are hiding behind; it is the honest position for a free service that reads other people's websites. When a number is wrong we want to know, and we fix it.

IV

read this bit twice

Who this is for: adults, and only adults

This site is for adults 21 and over who already use tobacco or nicotine. If you are under 21, this is not for you. If you do not use nicotine, don't start. Nicotine is an addictive chemical, none of this is safe, and nothing on this site is a health product or medical advice of any kind.

Before showing you shelves, the site asks where you are and whether you are of age, and it filters what you see to stores that say they ship there. That gate is an honest question honestly asked, not identity verification, and we do not pretend otherwise.

Each store runs its own age check at its own checkout, and they vary a lot. Some verify identity through an ID service, some require an adult signature at the door, some only ask your date of birth, and some publish nothing at all. We surface what each store actually does next to its checkout button, because ten identical Buy buttons would imply ten identical age checks, and that is not true.

A store's willingness to ship somewhere is not evidence that it is legal to receive it there. Nicotine rules differ by country, state and city, and they change. Nothing here is legal advice, and a product appearing on this site is not a statement that it is lawful where you are. If the answer matters, check your local law.

V

the back door

The community board, and its one hard rule

The Back Door is a public message board. No accounts, no sign-up, no email. You post under a name you type, posting requires confirming you are 21 or over (the server refuses without it, not just the page), and everything on it is public and written by members of the public, not by us.

NO SALES, TRADES OR MEETUPS. This is the load-bearing rule. The reasoning, stated plainly: a board where strangers arrange to ship each other nicotine is an unlicensed distribution channel no matter what the footer says. Federal law (the PACT Act) and state law both regulate shipping these products, and none of the people in a thread hold licenses. So posts containing sale, payment, contact-detail or meetup language are automatically held for human review, and we will not weaken that filter.

Every post has a report button. Posts that collect enough reports hide themselves until a human looks. Moderators can hold, delete and lock. Deleting a post removes its text and name but leaves its slot, so links and reply counts in the rest of the thread do not shift under readers. Nothing posted there represents us, and none of it is checked for accuracy before it appears.

the boring but real bits

Content, conduct and the rest

Our writing is ours. The library pieces, the code and the comparison data are ours. Quote us with a link and we will be pleased. Republish a piece wholesale and we will ask you to stop.

Product names, images, brands and prices belong to the stores and brands they came from, and appear here to identify what is being compared.

Do not scrape us into a competing price list, and do not hammer the site. Ironic, given what we do, so to be fair about it: if you want the data for something non-commercial, email and ask. We will probably say yes.

The site is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it accurate and running, and we cannot promise it will be either. We are not liable for losses arising from relying on a price, a stock flag, a shipping estimate or anything else here.

If we change these terms, we will change this page and move the date at the top.

Contact

Everything (questions, corrections, takedowns, a price we have got wrong) goes to hello@nicotiamarket.com.

Corrections are genuinely welcome. This site's only asset is that its numbers are right, so telling us one is wrong is doing us a favour, not picking a fight.
